Demands 24 hour electricity for Srinagar city
Srinagar: Youth Congress Lok Sabha President Sheikh Aamir Rasool today called upon Minister of state for Power and CA and PD Vikar Rasool Wani at Secretariat Srinagar and demanded 24 hours power supply for Srinagar as city was witnessing tremendous tourist flow and people especially business community was suffering due to unscheduled power cuts . He informed minister that he (Aamir Rasool) met with various deputations at his residence and people complained about shortage of ration depots and said people had to stay in long queue outside ration depots to get ration . Minister of state for power and CA and PD Vikar Rasool Wani gave patient hearing to the demands made by Aamir Rasool and assured that genuine demands would be addressed on priority besides minister said that Departments of power and CA and PD has achieved progress in all the para- metres through fair and successful implementation of different flagship programmes in the state .
