Airports in Delhi, J&K, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat put on high alert amid fear of possible terror attack

New Delhi: Airports in Delhi and states of Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat were put on high alert following threat of possible terror attack.
As per the sources, Bureau of Civil Aviation Security has written to all government and private airlines, paramilitary forces informing them about the threat.
For the purpose of better security, there will be more random checking of baggage at airports. Also, the entry of vehicles into airports wil be curtailed.
