BJP Health minister faces public anger at SMHS hospital, forced to leave

Bhagat”s visit was the first to the hospital since the ongoing uprising began almost three months ago after the killing of militant commander Burhan Wani.

Scores of patients and their attendants raised pro-freedom slogans as State Health Minister Bali Bhagat visited the SMHS hospital on Wednesday.
Reports said that pro-freedom protests erupted in the hospital after Bhagat visited the ward in which pellet victims were treated for their eye injuries.

The minister, they said, had to leave after facing the angry crowd at around 11 am today.
