Srinagar: The state cabinet is scheduled to meet under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah at civil secretariat here on Wednesday. The meeting will take place at 4: 30 PM.
A minister in the cabinet confirmed to KNS that the agenda besides is likely to include some transfers in the police department. The minister said that there is directive form the election commission of India not to transfer deputy commissioners as they are busy with finalizing electoral rolls in their respective districts.
