Srinagar, October 24: Police on Sunday said that a civilian was killed after a brief shootout between militants and CRPF in Babapora area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
A top police officer told GNS that CRPF party of 178 BN was out for area domination in Babapora when militants fired upon them, CRPF also retaliated during cross firing one civilian was killed.
The officer further said that Credential being ascertained.
Meanwhile the civilian has been identified as Shahid Ahmad son of Ajaz resident of Anantnag.(GNS)
