Demands activation of vigilance, crime branch to identify black sheep
Srinagar: Safety and security of women at job is the responsibility and duty of the Government and the society at large .thousands of women are working across government departments, educational institute, semi government and private sector in J&K state providing these working ladies all sought of security should be the top most priority of Government. Crime against women is growing day by day .Every next day we hear about such crimes against women which one would have never imagined to happen in our society.
According to a statement issued to KNS, CSFK appeals to Government and all the stake holders of the society to ensure safety and security of our daughters in every walk of life. we appeal to general public also not to ignore any such incident around you .society has to firmly stand against crime against women .cases of eve teasing , molestation, exploitation are growing in our society at an alarming rate .If we as a society and as individuals do not stand against such crimes it will surely prove disastrous for our society .We appeal to Government to activate vigilance and crime branch departments , so that a very strong vigil is kept on the black sheep in Government, semi government and private sectors. CSFK appeals to parents also to be more vigilant and ensure our daughters are not put in any such situation where things can get ugly .verification ,assistance and accompanying your daughters is the need of hour .proper verification should be done before admitting your daughters in any educational centre, tuition center and rigorous verification should be done of advertisement for jobs and placement before applying or approaching for them .parent should take no shame to accompany their daughters at the time of job interviews or admissions in lower and higher educational institutions and even in professional colleges like air hostess etc. it the duty and responsibility of parents to verify
The facts and findings Women ladies and girls at job are also requested to be alert and cautious .lucrative jobs, promotions and postings can sometimes drop you in grave trouble. We request all working women ladies and girls to immediately discuss any such incident and happening with the parents and family in first go. At no cost one should fell to the pressure of seniors or colleagues. GOD forbid if any lady is subjected to any such atrocities , please do not hesitate to contact women police .supreme court of India has given clear cut directions to police and all investigating agencies to maintain the secrecy of the victim. Recent incidents of violation in which teachers have forced themselves upon students in tuition centres, allegations by nursing faculty and various other incidents have shattered the social fabric of our society.
CSFK once again appeals to the government, society, parents and our daughters themselves to ensure safety and security at every step and in every walk of life. CSFK also appeals to Bar Council to setup a strong legal cell for supporting and ensuring safety our daughters. A strong cell of 5 to 10 senior lady lawyers, should volunteer themselves to this noble important cause.
