IGP Kashmir inaugurates Blood donation camp in DPL Srinagar

Srinagar: Inspector General of Police Sh. A.G Mir today inaugurated a blood donation camp at District Police Lines, Srinagar. IGP Kashmir Sh. A G Mir and his spouse Dr. Shabnam Ara were the first to donate blood, followed by SSP Srinagar Sh. Amit Kumar and all city SPs, besides a number of police jawans also donated blood at the camp.

According to a statement issued to KNS, the  voluntary blood donation camp was organized by Blood Bank of Bone and Joint hospital, Srinagar in collaboration J&K police. During the camp besides, Inspector General of Police Sh. A.G Mir and his better half, SSP Srinagar Sh. Amit Kumar, SP South Sh. Imtiaz Ismail, SP West Shalinder Kumar, SP Hazratbal Sh. Rayees Ahmad, SP North Sh. Tahir Salim, SDPO M. R Gunj Mir Ejaz and a number of police Jawans donated their blood. The blood donated at the camp will be provided to the needy trauma patients at the Bone & Joints Hospital.
