‘No politically motivated person allowed to derail genuine employees struggle’
Srinagar: The Convener JCC Rauf Ahmad Bhat (President Civil Secretariat Non Gazetted Employees Union) has hailed the statement made by the Chief Minister on the floor of the House as optimistic and employees’ friendly.
The statement maintained that the JCC Convener stated that no politically motivated person shall be allowed to derail the genuine employees struggle for their ulterior motives.
The employees’ leadership of the state of Jammu and Kashmir is living its promise of employees’ representation. The JCC, an umbrella organization of all Trade Union outfits of the state under the visionary convener ship of Bhat through grounded and logic based argumentation has succeeded in breaking the ice regarding the age old employees demand for enhance of retirement age fro 58 to 60 years.
Rouf, Convener joint Consultative Committee, during his series of meetings with all the concerned in the established from top to bottom has preferred solid justifications in favour of the above said demand. The efforts are likely to yield results and a positive decision is expected in offering.
The last around six months Trade Union activities conducted under the young and well equipped convener ship has marked directions for further trade unionism in the state. The lines are clear. The employees being part of establishment cannot be anti establishment on whatsoever account.
Now, since the Trade Unionism in J&K is going through a curcial period of transformation and Rouf Ahmad Baht, appeals t all the employees in general and all employees’ leaders in particular to join hand with Jammu and Kashmir joining consultative Committee to make it vibrant and participatory trade union for all times to come for all issues to come.
