Srinagar: Kashmir Valley may witness widespread rainfall in plains and snowfall in higher reaches from 23rd February.
A MeT official said widespread rains may lash Kashmir plains while hilly areas may get massive snowfall from February 23 this month.
Till Feb 23, the weather may remain cloudy while there are chances of intermittent rain or snowfall. However, from Feb 23, there is every possibility of massive rainfall in Srinagar and other districts of Kashmir Valley.
This winter, Valley witnessed a dry spell that was broken by recent snowfall that occurred both in plains and hilly areas.
