SRINAGAR: As the oath ceremony for PM designate Narendra Modi closes in, many heads of the states including Pakistan Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharief have been invited to attend the ceremony.
Tech savvy Chief Minister Omar Abdullah tweeted it as an “excellent move” by Narendra Modi.
“Excellent move by @narendramodi to invite SAARC leaders, especially Pak PM for his swearing in. Hope this is beginning of sustained talks,” his tweet read.
PDP president and Member Parliament South Kashmir, Mehbooba Mufti has described the move as “good omen” saying that it’s a ‘pleasant surprise’.
