Srinagar: The government on Tuesday said that it has not decided anything about the announcement of winter vacations in Kashmir Valley.
Top officials at the School Education Department said that the announcement of winter vacations in Kashmir is false.
The official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that, “DSEK has not decided anything yet and the announcements being circulated on social media are fake and baseless.”
“DSEK is keeping an eye on the weather situation and as of now, it is not the right time to announce the vacations,” the officials said, adding, “In the coming weeks we will announce the vacations by taking the higher authorities on board.”
