Kulgam, Jan 31: Policeman dies of cardiac arrest while performing his duties posted at DPL Kulgam area South Kashmir’s Kulgam District on Monday, official said.
According to reports a Selection Grade Constable (SGCT) of Jammu and Kashmir Police died due to cardiac arrest while he was on duty at DPL Kulgam area of South Kashmir’s here in Kulgam District, the deceased has been identified as Bilal Ahmed Mir son of Ab Rehman Mir, a resident of Chandian Pajan, Devsar area of Kulgam District.
An official said Bilal faced a major heart attack which resulted his on spot Death, later he has been rushed to hospital by his fellow policemen to nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.
The officials said that after conducting the medical legal formalities, the body will be handed over to the relatives for last rites.
