They are all safe have returned to their homes: DC Budgam
Srinagar: Over 34 children sustained injuries when a bus ferrying them back from an excursion turned turtle in Khan Sahib Area in district Budgam.
Reports reaching KNS, said that the accident took place at Tangnar-Khan Sahib. The police has registered a case into the incident.
Reports said that all the children had gone for a picnic to Doud Pathri and were returning to their home (orphanage) in district Kupwara but the bus met with accident on way to Kupwara. The injured children were shifted to Sub District Hospital Khan Sahib. Few children have been shifted to Bone and Joints Hospital and some to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar, reports reaching KNS said.
“The bus met with accident late evening yesterday and we shifted some children to Bone and joints, SMHS and SKIMs. But all of them are safe and have been ferried to their home in Kupwara, “DC Budgam Khursheed Ahmad told KNS.
