Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir police have arrested a forest official for allegedly raping a girl in south Kashmir district of Pulwama, official sources said.
They said a complaint was lodged in police station Awantipora that a forest official Mohammad Ismail Dar had allegedly raped a girl last year.
The complaint said the accused used to visit the house of victim after posing as a faith healer. The incident came to the fore after the girl gave birth to a baby recently.
