Salla-udin pays tributes to slain youth, militant

Condemns police action against Malik

Srinagar:  Hizb supremo and United Jihad Council chief Syed Salla-udin Tuesday paid tributes to slain militant and a youth killed in Sopore on Monday.

He has also cautioned that no person shall be allowed to barter the ongoing resistance movement.

According to the statement issued by Hizb supremo Saleem Hashmi to KNS,  Syed Salla-udin stated that after the killing of the LeT militant Mehmood Bhai by the forces in Sopore, the killing of an unarmed youth reveals that there is no difference between the militants and unarmed men in Kashmir.

“After facing defeat from the mujahideen, the Indian forces avenge the same by killing the common persons in valley. The authorities in India and their puppets in Kashmir must know that such tactics cannot suppress the ongoing resistance movement in Kashmir,” reads the statement issued here.

Syed Salla-udin also condemned the police action against the JKLF chief Mohammad Yasin Malik and other front activists- maintaining that the tactics of detention and arrest sprees could not deter the resolve of the people here. He further asserted that no opportunist shall be allowed to damage the ongoing ‘freedom moment’.
