Two months since three leaders detained, imagine plights of Kashmir’s caged in outside jails: Mehbooba Mufti

Srinagar, Feb 12: Former J&K Chief Minister and PDP President Mehbooba Mufti on Friday said that the Government had detained three leaders illegally without any order.

Mehbooba in a tweet according to news agency KDC said “Two months since Sartaj Madni, Naeem Akhtar & Hilal Lone were illegally detained without any order explaining their arrest. When GOI can pursue its utter contempt for lawmakers by throwing rule of law to the wind, imagine plight of hundreds of Kashmiris caged in jails outside J&K.”

Pertinently, authorities have detained these mainstream leaders at Jammu and Kashmir’s MLA Hostel in Srinagar. (KDC)
