Nawakdal injured kept on ventilator

Srinagar: One of the four injured in April 30, Nawakadal firing incident has been kept on ventilator after one of his fingers was amputated by doctors here in a city hospital.

Moeen Ahmad Akhoon son of Bilal Ahmad Akhoon who got injured in the incident has been kept on ventilator in SMHS after he fell unconscious today, doctors attending him told KNS.

Talking to KNS, Moeen’s father Bilal Ahmad said: “He is my only son and my family depends on him. There is no movement in his body. I don’t know what will happen to him,” Bilal told KNS while appealing people for special prayers for his son.

A senior doctor attending Moeen told KNS: “The index finger of his left hand was amputated as it had got completely damaged   by the bullet. Later he underwent into an unexplainable shock so was kept on ventilator. We cannot say anything  about his condition right now.”
