‘Present Day Yazeeds Should Remember That They are Answerable to Nation,’ says Hurriyat

Srinagar: While paying rich tributes Faisal Yousuf Bhat and Mehraj-ud-Din Dar of Nowgam, who were killed by forces in Chatergam Chadoora in ‘fake encounter’ on 3rd on November 2014 by 53-RR, on their anniversary, All Parties Hurriyat Conference led by Syed Ali Geelani on Wednesday said that these two innocents were traveling in their car and without any reason or provocation were showered with bullets.

“Army claimed responsibility, apologized and even promised to punish the culprits, but like Indian rulers they also made the promise not for fulfil it. And those responsible for this bloodshed are roaming free busy in the same human carnage, for which they should have either been behind bars or hanged to death. But as always, democracy loses its meaning in this part of land and its Indian model has a reverse gear because the ruling class has to maintain the morale of their armed forces and at the same time they need to satisfy the collective conscience of their majority vote bank, so the blood, honour, chastity and property of Muslims in general and Kashmiris in particular acts as a catalyst,” the Hurriyat Conference said in a statement issued this evening.

The Hurriyat Conference said, “our spilled blood fetches them more medals, molesting our women elevates their status, genocide of our populace soothes their self-esteem and blood ridden bodies of our loved ones brings solace to their revengeful minds.”

“The saddest part of it is that those stooges of this tyranny flourishing and thriving on the blood of our innocents continue to dicker our sacrifices for their petty interests. They have never bothered to realize that their masters honour them only for ruthless killings of their own people and these mongers of our flesh jubilantly consent for it,” it said.

Geelani Hurriyat Conference further said, “these present day Yazeeds should remember that Karbalas in every nook and corner of the valley perpetrated by them, can no longer guarantee their authority for too long and they are answerable to the nation for each and every drop of blood shed by the arrogance and lust of their power and our youth have made their mind that they will never give legitimacy to this forced Indian rule.”

While sympathizing with the families of the ‘martyrs’, the Hurriyat Conference said that although words fail to solace and sooth the deep wounds of separation of their loved ones, but history stands witness to the rock solid reality that “barbarism and ruthlessness, no matter how prolonged it may be has a definite and tragic end and fought with unity, sincerity and zeal the dawn of freedom can never be too far Insha Allah”.
