Senior Lonely Citizens (Let’s give them the time)

Srinagar: “Youth For Peace And Development” Chairman, Rasik Bhat Interacted with a citizens in the age group of 20-65 years have come up with a new group called ‘Baghban’, gardener in Hindi, to create a forum where baby-boomers meet, interact, form bonds and work together to combat their loneliness by spending time together. “Our motto is to create a platform where the elderly overcome their inhibitions and reach out to others their age, which are in a elder age. 
Speaking on Occasion “Youth for Peace and Development “Secretary, Qurat ul Ain said. “It’s not that all old age feel neglected by their families and children, but they do feel lonely. Instead of just spending their time by themselves, through our weekly and monthly events the elderly can get to know each other and feel valued,” said Qurat ul Ain As part of “Youth For Peace And Development ” , The group brought  together over a hundred elderly and young people and bonded together.
