Utilizing services of children in stone pelting is a war crime: BJP’s Hina Bhat

‘Threatening transporters, shopkeepers by Huriyat is unacceptable’

Srinagar: Dr Hina Shafi Bhat State Vice President BJP Mahila Morcha in a statement issued today has said that employing services of children for stone pelting in current unrest is the biggest tragedy. She said that it amounts to war crime as per international law. She appealed the parents not to let their children to be used as canon fodders for political interests. She urged upon the society at large to team up for sending these children to schools to save these young kids from exploitation. She said that Huriyat was directly responsible for loss of precious human lives in current unrest and nation will not forgive them for their misadventures for exploiting the sentiments of youth and letting them on the frontline of violent clashes where as their own children are getting education in foreign lands of Australia and Malaysia.
Dr Hina Baht also condemned the Huriyat statement where in they have labelled the Taxi drivers as Indian agents who drive their vehicles during shutdown. She said earning a livelihood by legitimate means is a basic right of all able bodied human beings. She said denying livelihood is the most heinous crime. If earning a livelihood is a crime then we all Kashmiris are criminals. She said that stone pelters unleashed by Huriyat upon poor people are terrorising the commoners for the sin of trying to live their lives. She asked Huriyat to desist from issues threats and diktats to people and complimented people for defying these diktats.
